As my final portfolio project at Full Sail, I have decided to create a Food focused hero Prop and supporting scene, in a semi-realistic stylized PBR with hand-authored texture detail. As part of this process.
The inspiration for this work is “AI Slop: Food Porn” on Pinterest. I came across this ‘genre’ by accident, but I quickly became enamored by the styles and the sheer volume of the images. They are marvelous, and beautiful, and in stunning colors. I became excited at the idea of translating them into 3D – then the added dimension of depth and animation.
The scene is modeled, sculpted, texture painted, and rendered in Blender (EEVEE), with minor sculpt refinements in ZBrush.
